Army Modeling and Simulation Award

Every year, the Army Modeling and Simulation Office (AMSO) recognizes the exceptional work of its Modeling and Simulation (M&S) military and civilian workforce through the Army M&S Awards program. The Military Director of AMSO congratulates individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to the M&S enterprise.
These awards celebrate individuals and teams who have significantly enhanced the Army's M&S capabilities. Examples of actions that significantly improve the Army M&S Enterprise include driving innovative projects, modernizing existing systems and processes, or dramatically enhancing the overall quality of Army M&S. Think groundbreaking improvements in efficiency, cost savings through the application of new technologies, or a demonstrably positive impact on Army readiness. This is not an all-inclusive list of the ways nominees can contribute to the Army M&S Enterprise. We look forward to seeing new ideas from future nominees!
These awards are exclusively for government and federal employees; contractors are not eligible. A successful award nomination will paint a clear picture of the nominee(s) and their accomplishments: what they did, who was involved, the resulting benefits for the Army and the M&S community, how it fits within the award category, the effort invested, and the potential future impact. This recognition serves as a powerful testament to the dedication and excellence exemplified by the Army's M&S professionals.

The Army Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Award acknowledges the Army’s military and civilian M&S workforce and their dedication to excellence.
The Army M&S Award is a non-monetary and low-cost, high impact way to recognize the M&S achievements of the workforce.
Nominations are accepted for both individual and team achievements in the following categories: Acquisition, Analysis, Experimentation, Intelligence, Test and Evaluation, Training and Cross-Cutting.
Award recipients will receive a distinctive trophy and individual certificate.
In August 2025, the Army Modeling and Simulation Office will announce the Call for Nominations for the FY 2025 Army Modeling and Simulation Award.
